Global investment volumes continue to run ahead of last year across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC. However, the higher cost of capital is a challenge. Rising bond yields, wider required spreads, and firmer inflation are slowing pricing discovery and extending deal timelines, particularly in Europe, where some transactions are already being delayed as buyers and sellers reassess clearing levels.

A New Mexico advisory board responsible for oversight of more than $200 million in technology and innovation funding met for the first time on June 1, paving the way for decisions that could bring in high-wage jobs and non-public entities….

Board members include representatives from Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, four state universities, the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce and more. Members also include appointed members from the state’s private sector.

Passionate about the real estate community of New Mexico, Colliers Sr. VP and Principal Bob Feinberg co-founded the ULI New Mexico chapter, served as a Board Member for 10 years, and is now an Advisor to the Board. Additionally, Bob, along with other members of the New Mexico ULI Chapter, spearheaded the enabling of “Urban Plan Courses -- Urban Land Institute” at the James & Gail Ellis School of Business Leadership (formerly Anderson School of Management) at UNM, a program meant to introduce students to real estate. Bob also founded the ULI El Paso Satellite Council. In addition, he is the Co-Founder and Treasurer of the New Mexico Desalination Association, a non-profit dedicated to educating the public about desalination and creating innovative desalination solutions and enhancing water stewardship through brackish water resources.
