So excited for my client who is moving to Albuquerque from Amarillo! She has been tracking houses for a couple of months. This one rose to the top of her list. I found out they had an offer, showed it to her over FaceTime, submitted an offer the same day, and had it accepted the next morning.

A lovely couple toured my listing at 12300 Carmel NE during an open house. They loved the home but were not quite ready to buy because they can’t move to NM until retirement next year.

I suggested they maybe look at buying a lot for now then build next year. So I sent them available lots in the far NE heights, and contacted custom builders to find any off-market lots. We looked at a few and this one really caught their eye. So we asked one of the builders (Scott Ashcraft of Las Ventanas) to walk it with us and provide his experienced opinion on cost to prepare the lot for building. He said compared to a couple of others they liked, this one will be minimal.

I negotiated an offer under asking price and secured a contract for them. As of June 15, my clients are thrilled to be the new owners of this 1.1 acre lot and can’t wait to start designing their new custom built home this fall! I look forward to working with them through their construction process as well.
