Formed in 2006, Blythe Settlement Properties, LLC, is a family owned company with land holdings is Tallapoosa and Coosa Counties. While we buy and sell real estate, WE ARE NOT A REAL ESTATE COMPANY, but invest in and manage our own assets for their best use. We make every effort to be good citizens in our community and good neighbors to adjoining property owners while being good stewards of our timber lands and other properties. The name “Settlement” originates from the idea of a place where people live or settle, and it is still used to refer to our home.

There are seven nice pine that the beavers have gnawed around. Looks like I will have to break out the .223 at sunset. Senseless destruction just like the Russians.

August is the yellow and green month (like Baylor University’s color). The excess rainfall has added to the lush growth of partridge peas. In some areas they are head high. I planted a few 20 years ago, and every year there are more because of prescribed fire. Likewise desmodium (beggar lice). Golden rod will bloom soon after these fade.
