What do you think? Are these surprising?
These numbers are averaged for ALL home types- If you sort for single family homes, almost all of these numbers jump up quite a bit- a single family home in 22314 has a median of $1,050,000 and in 22301 it’s $2,073,000 and in 22302 it’s a whopping $1,325,000 almost an entire $800k above the median for all the homes (indicating a high number of condo sales recently!)
As a local Alexandria, VA real estate agent, I can assure you of the obvious: these are simply a median number. You can find homes on either ends of the spectrum in these neighborhoods.
