National Rescue Dog Day-tomorrow!
Tomorrow is National Rescue Dog Day, and I’m proud to continue my partnership with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria through my “Adopt It Forward” program.

Every time one of my clients buys or sells a home with me, an adoption fee gets covered for an animal waiting for a family of its own. Right now, five adoption fees are already paid — which means five animals are ready to walk out the door tomorrow with everything they need and start their next chapter.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, tomorrow is a pretty great day to meet your future best friend.

Two closings today — huge congratulations to my clients on their new chapters.

You’ll notice there are no smiling “SOLD” sign photos here. I don’t often make my clients pose for pictures….Instead, I take a picture of the wine they’ll be enjoying tonight….

Also… thank you for the incredibly kind words and the chocolates that I absolutely did not need and will absolutely still eat.

Grateful for the trust, the referrals, and the chance to help good people make big moves. Cheers to new homes and fresh starts.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and dog moms! I hope you enjoyed the day and were shown the recognition you deserve! Shout out to my mom who probably felt the urge to hold my head under the water during the capture of this moment, as I was a “challenging child” to raise….. Thanks for not doing that Ma!

Another Derby Day party in the books- raising the bar again! Incredible hats, amazing food and drinks, killer music. Most importantly, we raised a great deal of money for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

Huge thanks to , , Cedric from , our amazing friends and neighbors (with extra credit to our dessert contest champions), and a very special shoutout to and GXB for absolutely stealing the show with their incredible set. Seriously—go see this guy perform any chance you get.

I am proud and honored to be among such a great group of neighbors, friends, and volunteers. Showcased during the Jefferson Manor Earth Day park cleanup and planting event yesterday!

With the help of incredible neighborhood volunteers, Peace Corps members, Fairfax County Park Authority’s Invasive Management Area Program, and Fairfax ReLeaf, we made a real impact on our community park.

Together, we cleared invasive species from a portion of Jefferson Manor Park and planted 65 new trees, along with native grasses, shrubs, and ground cover that will help restore and strengthen this green space for years to come.

Because of this effort, future generations will get to enjoy the beauty of blooming plums, dogwoods, magnolias, cherry trees, oaks, and more—all in the heart of our incredible neighborhood.

This was an amazing volunteer effort. Thank you to all volunteers for helping make our park healthier, stronger, and more beautiful.

Out in Loudoun County today for a pre-drywall inspection on new construction, making sure everything behind the walls is just as solid as what you’ll see on the surface.

Grateful to be alongside one of the best in the business—Jim with —who leaves no stone unturned.

Even better, my clients get to be part of the process every step of the way as their home comes to life… and backing to a wildlife preserve doesn’t hurt either.
