Raising kids in DC just hits different….

Like, wdym we have universal preschool but I am not guaranteed a spot in my in-boundary school until Kindergarten?

And wdym we don’t have school buses but I somehow have to get my kids to/from a school that’s a 25 minute drive away? 🤔

I think even local DC residents don’t know this info until it’s time to enroll a kid in school.

My 2 kids are now in middle school, and they are both born and raised DC! It’s fun raising city kids. ❤️

While the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia have had red hot real estate markets with homes in high demand, the real estate market in Washington, DC proper has been significantly cooler.

It’s my firm belief that no matter what the market dynamics may be, a successful home sale involves the following:

🏡 An intelligent pricing strategy that commands maximum attention from the market right off the bat

🏡 Magnetic presentation (ie the features you choose to update, staging, and the quality of your media assets) that attracts your ideal buyers and gets them to commit

🏡 An intentional promotional campaign through pre-listing marketing, relationships with other brokers, and advertising

I’m grateful to my seller clients for their partnership and trust. They followed through with my proposed Action Plan like champs, and the result was beautiful.

We really are so lucky to be raising our kids in the Washington, DC area! There are so many kid-friendly options, and most of them have free entry!
