January 3rd marks our one-year home anniversary.
How we came about our home: it was an off-market deal where the owner was having a hard time getting it ready for market, and we offered to take it “as-is.” There were A LOT of issues with the home, some of which still pop up from time to time.
To name a few: a completely rotted bathroom, pest infestation, 14 years of dust accumulation in the ducts, mold, a completely abandoned yard, roof leaks, and a lot more. This home has truly been a labor of love.
We’ve had a lot of help from parents, friends, trusted partners, and more. We’ve come a long way from its original condition and still have more to go, but we’re incredibly grateful for the home we live in.
