Spring is Springing!

The latest research on weekly showing activity (using Fairfax County as an example) shows that buyer activity in 2026 is only marginally greater than the same levels last year, but buyers are significantly increasing showing activity both after our recent snowstorms and in the beginning of the spring market! Perhaps showing the traditional “spring market” psychology we often see during this time of year

With inventory levels in 2026 starting higher because homes were sitting longer at the end of 2025, time will tell if the slight increase in more activity will significantly affect the inventory of available homes
