Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.

We remember the lives lost, the families who continue to carry their loved ones in their hearts, and the courage of the first responders and everyday Americans who came together in the face of tragedy.

May we never forget the lives, the sacrifices, and the spirit of unity that followed.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Could living near a data center hurt your home's value?

Data centers are showing up in more communities, and naturally, homeowners and buyers want to know what that could mean for nearby houses.

One of the biggest concerns that comes up is home values. But research from HousingWire found that areas with large data centers generally saw home values track similarly to comparable areas without them.

That doesn't mean proximity never matters. Noise, infrastructure, future development, and potential utility costs are all worth considering.

But a data center nearby isn't automatically bad news for your home's value.

Have one near you or one coming soon? Let’s look at what it could actually mean for your home and your neighborhood.

Still waiting for home prices to come down? That's becoming less likely. Home prices are now rising in 80% of housing markets. That’s up from 71% last quarter. In other words, more markets are seeing prices go up — not down. Before you put your plans on hold, let's look at what's happening in our market. Waiting may not save you as much as you think.

Can remote workers afford to buy a home more easily by moving somewhere cheaper? 🏡💻

If you work remotely, you may not be tied to the same city, or even state, as your job anymore. That can give you more flexibility to choose a location where your income goes further.

And with home affordability still a challenge, lower housing and everyday living costs could make a meaningful difference in your budget.

But which locations actually offer a lower cost of living, and how do you balance affordability with the lifestyle and amenities you want?

If you're a remote worker thinking about where to buy a home, let’s talk about your budget and must-haves and find a location that fits your goals.

When was the last time you reviewed your homeowners insurance? 🏡🔍

Your home may have changed significantly since you first got your policy—and your insurance coverage may not have kept up.

Renovations, a new roof, an addition, expensive belongings, or even rising construction costs can all affect how much coverage you actually need.

It’s also important to understand how your claims are paid, what deductibles apply, and whether your current policy would cover the cost to rebuild your home today.

A quick conversation with your insurance agent could help you spot a potential coverage gap before you actually need to file a claim.

If you're a homeowner, save this as a reminder to review your coverage and make sure your policy still fits your home and your life.
