Hey! Want to get to know me better?
I moved to the DC area in December 1998 from Fairbanks, Alaska as I saw more job opportunities here and needed a change in my life.
I worked for an educational institute and VEBA organization for several years where I learned how to keep the daily operations of a small organization going in the right direction and learned to prioritize projects.
While working a full-time job, I went to school to obtain my Masters in Business Administration from Loyola College of Maryland in May 2003.
When my second son was born in December 2012, due to his health issues, I decided to stay at home with him so I could focus on his well-being and be his advocate in the complex medical industry.
In June of 2018, I met with a dear Realtor friend who told me I would be great as a Realtor.
He told me that because I am detail-oriented, resourceful and love helping others, I would do well in real estate.
I decided to take him up on his suggestion and got my real estate license.
I started my real estate career at Coldwell Banker in Old Town Alexandria.
In the beginning I started out by assisting top-performing agents with their paperwork which allowed me to quickly learn how to assist sellers with selling their homes for the best price.
I enjoy being a Realtor as I get to help others and assist them with a major task in their life with the least amount of stress and as quickly as possible.
Knowing the current local real estate market allows me to inform my sellers about what upgrades are needed, where to price the home to get the most buyers looking at it and what attributes of the home should be highlighted.
Ever since I started in real estate, my goal was clear: to master the art and science of selling homes at the best prices.
My ultimate purpose about being a realtor is to meet new people and leave them better off than when we first met.
That includes being able to listen and deliver on their needs, do what is right when they want me to negotiate on their behalf, be there for my client when issues arise during the process and be a sounding board when they are feeling stressed.
Today, I’m grateful to be helping sellers in my local area, Fairfax County, sell their homes stress-free and easily.
