Every year, attendees enjoy a wide range of tastes from top Del Ray restaurants and an opportunity to vote for their favorite. The top dish will receive the People's Choice Award, and bragging rights:) It's always fun to taste your way through the Del Ray restaurant scene, enjoying creative offerings from our many talented chefs, at one of our best-attended events of the year. The Torpedo Factory is hosting a unique event this weekend titled “Her Voice: an immersive evening of Ukrainian art, sound, and movement,” a one-night-only art experience. Tickets can be purchased here: https://loom.ly/6C5O-yE. Additionally, the annual D-Day Commemoration, usually held at Market Square, has been moved to John Carlyle Square this year. This weekend, shops along Mount Vernon Ave are hosting an event they are calling Blossoms, Bubbly and Boutiques! Sip bubbly while you support the small, local shops around the neighborhood. Also, on Saturday, Cinema Del Ray is back, screening Zootopia 2. Cinema Del Ray is a free event that begins at dusk, on the fields behind Mount Vernon Rec Center. On Sunday, Old Town is hosting the Old Town Festival Of Speed & Style. This festival has become a staple springtime event in Alexandria, celebrating fashion and automobiles, featuring one of the most unique fashion shows you'll find this side of the Potomac.
