I've always considered this the crown jewel of the remaining tracts of land in Lucas, Tx. It has it all, open pasture, wooded areas, rolling topography, and water tanks. It's not for sale but when that happens, it will make a wonderful development.

The home was 3,380 SF on a heavily wooded 1-acre lot. It was built in 1985. The home was on the market for only 8 days before it went under contract, and it was listed at $998,000. It is located in Sycamore Place, right next to Oakwood Estates in Fairview with Lovejoy ISD. Congratulations to Alice Robison. I'll bet this is her 8th sale in here.

This is the second time we have sold this home, and it's always been one of my favorites. We had a feeling it would be the next to close when we listed it, and it only took 14 days to find the buyer. That's fast for a home at this price point ($1.875 million), but we predicted that would happen from day one. It's not only charming, but both sellers also did a fantastic job of keeping the home in great condition over the years, and it paid off when it came time to sell. The sellers were sad to see it go because of all their great memories, but with all their kids grown and moved out, they felt it was time to downsize, reduce their time commitment to maintaining the home, and spend more time doing other things. Sean Elliott did a great job, as always, negotiating the sale price and working with the sellers through the entire process.
