Happy Sunday! Hooray, Daylight Savings Time starts now! So yes, we lost an hour of sleep last night but we gained more time to view homes and properties in the daylight hours and THAT is a fabulous advantage for both my buyers and sellers!

Allendale, NJ – A Hidden Gem with Nature and Charm! 🌳

Did you know.... Allendale is home to an absolutely gorgeous Nature Trail? The Celery Farm, 107-acre freshwater wetland, is a beautiful spot for hiking, bird watching, and taking in the natural beauty of Bergen County? Whether you’re a nature lover or just enjoy some peaceful time outdoors, this is a must-visit location. Take a look at The Fyke Nature Association Website, I included a link here so you can enjoy discovering this local natural oasis. Interestingly there is a small detour on the trail, as of Feb 4, 2025, a part of the trail has been closed for protection of a threatened roosting bird species...Nature lovers will agree that is worth the hiking detour!

Allendale also features a beautiful recreational area, Crestwood Park. Crestwood Park is a 71 acre parcel that includes a lake with 3 beaches (Private Lake – Membership is required for the lake however throughout the warmer months, Concerts and Entertainment activities are hosted and are Open To The Public. So residents and visitors alike can enjoy live music with family, friends and their neighbors! Crestwood Park also has multiple sports fields, and a barn pavilion (The Red Barn).

Allendale is simply a great town for everyone with lots of activities , shopping on Allendale Avenue's Downtown Shopping area and wonderful community vibe! 🥕🌻
