My neighbor thought we were nuts, just bought a house, the whole 9 yards. I was an Industrial Boiler Mechanic for nearly a decade followed by a few years employment in a custom welding & fabrication shop making high end built to order furniture and light fixtures. I chose to hang my Real Estate license with Weichert, Realtors in Downtown Jersey City that July due to it's office members, location,
& market. Jersey City's overall diversity, plus its variety of inventory, & volume, were great teachers. I chose to expand "my market" to Bergen and Passaic counties in 2014 to be closer to my growing family. 2020 hit everyone a bit differently, mine was no exception. I wanted a fresh start in May of 2021 and I have it at Coldwell Banker Realty in Allendale, NJ right down the street from my home. Very excited to walk to work if I choose! My first closed sale was from an Open House; the client came in, loved the condo, just not the price. A few weeks later the seller reduced the price. I got us in immediately, and wrote up an offer to start negotiations that night. We came to an agreement shortly thereafter and closed New Year's Eve. I've sold a few directly at the open house too, "Docusigning" a contract less than an hr after the open house is always an experience! I'm a 7 year member of the Allendale Holiday Observers, a century old, amazing not-for-profit volunteer organization that truly makes a difference to the kids and families of Allendale, NJ. The events we, the town and its people sponsor are something else year after year after year. I'm a member of 3 different MLS' (Hudson County, NJMLS, & Garden State MLS) to ensure the most possible exposure for your home if you are selling, it benefits all my clients. My business has been comprised of an equal amount of working for sellers, buyers, and landlords, & tenants. I take extreme pride in knowing current market conditions checking the MLS every day for new listings, price changes, and sales.
