When it comes to protecting your home and family from radon, it all starts with two key players: radon testers and radon mitigators. They are truly the backbone of reducing radon levels in our communities.

Radon testers are the first line of defense. They measure the invisible, odorless gas that can seep into homes and quietly put families at risk. Without accurate testing, homeowners would never know there’s an issue.
*Testing creates awareness — and awareness leads to action. *

That’s where we, radon mitigators step in. Mitigation professionals such as us, design and install systems that actively reduce radon levels & improving the air quality inside your home. We understand soil conditions, home construction, airflow, and long-term performance.

Here at Lehigh Radon Solutions, we're striving to build a strong reputation as a long-standing radon company committed to one goal, low readings after every installation, activation or repair. Post-mitigation results showing low/dropped radon levels means that families are breathing safer air. From the first test to the final system check, radon professionals work together to make homes healthier. Reducing radon isn’t just a service — it’s a responsibility.

Quick question:

When was the last time you tested your home for radon?

Most people don’t realize it’s the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers—and it can be present in any home.

Drop a 👍 if you’ve tested
Drop a ❗ if you haven’t (no judgment—just a reminder)

A radon fan should be quiet and barely noticeable when it’s working properly. In most cases, you may only hear a very faint hum if you’re standing right next to it.
If your radon fan is making loud humming, rattling, grinding, or buzzing noises, it could be a sign that the fan is wearing out, or something isn’t working correctly. Ignoring the noise could lead to the system not removing radon from your home the way it should.
If your radon fan sounds louder than usual, it might be time to have it replaced.
If any of these issues above arise, give us a call to ensure that your radon system is running safely and quietly.

for insight regarding radon awareness and how testing works.

Pennsylvania has one of the most serious radon problems in the United States. Approximately 40% of homes tested in Pennsylvania have radon levels above the Environmental Protection Agency’s action guideline of 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L).

You can search for radon test data by zip code (opens in a new tab), but hands down, the smartest thing to do is to test your home for radon, no matter where you live. Protect yourself and your loved ones: Do a home radon test.

Radon in the Home

Radon does not care:
• how new a home is
• what type of foundation it has
• or whether neighboring homes tested low

Every home is different.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas and one of the leading causes of lung cancer among non-smokers — yet many homes are never tested.

The only way to know your home’s radon level is to test.

Here’s something most people don’t know:

💧 10,000 pCi/L of radon in water

can contribute about

🌬️ 1 pCi/L to indoor air

That means your water could be quietly increasing the radon levels you’re breathing every day.

And in some homes, that contribution isn’t small—it’s significant.

Radon in water is:

✔ Highly variable

✔ Often overlooked

✔ Completely test-dependent
