I mean, how hard could it be? Grab some scissors, watch a YouTube video, and save yourself a few bucks. What could possibly go wrong?! 🤣

Selling your house yourself? Kinda the same idea.

Sure, you CAN do it. But pricing, marketing, negotiations, paperwork, and getting to closing? There's a little more to it than sticking a sign in the yard and opening up a door.

Funny how quickly things can change in real estate. ❤️🏡
Yesterday I shared about the not-so-fun part of this job—having a listing expire that I didn’t get sold.

Then today my phone rings.

Someone I had never worked with before called because a past client gave them my name and told them to call me. They wanted to know if I could show them some homes this weekend!
Ummm… YES. 😂🙋🏼‍♀️🏡

And just like that, my Realtor heart was full again.

It also reminded me why reviews like these mean so much. ❤️ It’s not just about getting a 5-star review—it’s knowing someone had a good enough experience with me that they’re willing to put my name in front of someone they care about.

Yesterday humbled me.
Today reminded me why I keep showing up.

Real estate has its highs and lows…but referrals like this? They totally make my day. ❤️

Well… this one did NOT get the cute little SOLD sign ending all agents want to share with you. 😂

We marketed it. We showed it. We adjusted. We waited. We crossed our fingers…..

And still… expired. That is unfortunately sometimes reality.

Honestly, I was so sad about taking the sign down I didn’t even get dressed up for the occasion. Sweatpants it is. 😂

Not every listing sells on the first go, and sometimes the market just says, “Not today.”

So we regroup, learn from it, and move on to the next plan. 🏡❤️

I actually get this question A-LOT.

Just because someone else’s name is on the sign doesn’t mean that’s who you have to call.

You get to choose YOUR agent. 🙌🏼

The one you trust.
The one who answers your questions.
The one who actually communicates with you.
And the one you want in your corner through the whole process.

So if you see a house you love, call your agent…not necessarily the name on the sign. 😉
