This week has been one of those weeks that reminds me just how unpredictable real estate can be. Maybe it was all the smoke in the air!

I showed multiple properties and wrote two offers. After submitting the second offer the listing agent told me we were right where we needed to be and that it was a strong offer. The seller rejected it on Tuesday, saying they had found their own buyer.

Then this morning, I received a text asking if my buyers were still interested and requesting that I resend the offer—because now they suddenly needed an answer right away due to “other offers.”

Situations like this can be frustrating, but they’re also a good reminder of an important lesson:

🏡 In real estate, things can change in an instant. A deal that seems dead today may come back tomorrow. Sellers’ circumstances change, buyers back out, financing falls through, and opportunities reappear when you least expect them.

That’s why having an agent who stays engaged, communicates quickly, and advocates for your best interests matters. Even when the process feels like a roller coaster, my job is to help my clients navigate every twist and turn.

I don’t know about all of you but as a business owner, it’s very frustrating getting multiple spam calls throughout the day.
After 6 spam calls before noon out of sheer frustration I snapped back! The guy on the other end of the call was so nasty saying that he was going to come here and do horrible things to me and my mother… I know that’s not true because he’s probably in another country. So my question is, does anyone have any tips on how to stop these calls? I am on the Do Not Call List but they don’t care they call anyway! I feel obligated to answer most calls because I want to be available for clients.
