While the name is changing, the commitment to our local livestock community remains strong. We’re proud to introduce the new owners:

John Asbury, Jr. — a lifelong Carroll County resident with deep roots in the community and a genuine passion for the livestock industry. John grew up on a beef and poultry farm. After graduating from GFHS, he attended NEO in Miami, Oklahoma. He then returned home and began his own cattle and poultry farm north of Green Forest with his wife Casey and their three children.

Spencer Cline — a Kingston native with 14 years of auctioneering experience, bringing years of knowledge and experience to the ring. Spencer and his fiancé, Ashley, are excited to be a part of the Carroll County farming community.

Together, John and Spencer are looking forward to building upon the foundation that NALA established while moving the stockyard into a new chapter that serves the farmers, ranchers, buyers, and families of our area for years to come.

🐴 A Lifelong Passion for Horses. A New Chapter in Equine Insurance.

Originally from northern Minnesota, I now proudly call Kansas home, where my family and I own and operate Gallaher Ranch, training cutting horses, cowhorses, and rope horses. We also enjoy raising bucking bulls.

Horses have been at the center of my life from an early age, giving me firsthand experience with the dedication, sacrifice, and passion that come with this lifestyle.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to show western pleasure, all-around, over fences, and hunter under saddle, as well as preparing horses for some of the industry’s premier events, including the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, AQHA World Championship Show, and NCHA Triple Crown events.

My experience extends well beyond the show pen. I’ve shown horses across the United States and Canada, worked for a respected reining horse trainer throughout college, represented Purina in outside sales, photographed, filmed and marketed performance horses, taught riding lessons at the historic Saddle & Sirloin Club in Kansas City, coached youth and amateur exhibitors, served as an accredited judge, and managed public stallion services.

Every chapter has given me a deeper understanding of the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities that horse owners and equine professionals face every day.

Outside of the horse industry, you’ll most often find me enjoying time outdoors with my family—fishing, riding, traveling, cooking, and cheering my kids on at their events.

I’ve always believed some of life’s greatest gifts are found in good old horses, good old dogs, and good people. ❤️

Joining the Remuda Insurance team felt like a natural extension of a lifelong commitment to this industry. My goal is to offer more than a policy—I want to provide knowledgeable guidance, personalized protection, and the kind of service that reflects the value of what you’ve worked so hard to build.
