Ready, Set, Summer! Across the Atlanta surrounding area, there are outside summer concert series in parks and amphitheaters. To bring some of that summer fun and music to Cottonwood, the Rodeo Drive bluegrass band kicked off the summer with classic tunes by the Beach Boys. Last Wednesday, residents enjoyed a special luncheon, and education on benefits of olive oil at the Leaning Ladder in Woodstock, GA. Tasted a variety of balsamic vinegars and even enjoyed unlikely combinations that were simply delicious! Brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with raspberry or expresso balsamic vinegar.

Wonderful Wednesday outing took us to an open-air restaurant on Lake Lanier yesterday. The sound of "yums" could be heard as everyone enjoyed southern flavors and foods such as "fried green tomatoes." This outing broke the record for participation!
