I'm a pretty laid-back real estate agent... until you're under contract. 😅

The moment that purchase and sale agreement gets signed?

A switch flips.

Suddenly I'm the person double-checking, asking questions, and gently (okay, sometimes not-so-gently) reminding you about deadlines.

Here's why:

EVERY date in your contract matters.

Miss a deadline, and the agreement can become voidable.

(Voidable = it could be canceled if the other party decides to walk.)

The good news? Georgia REALTOR® contracts spell out expectations and remedies if something slips but... those remedies have deadlines too.

So consider yourself warned. 😊

I don't love to nag - but when it protects you and your deal, I absolutely will.

🚢❤️ A little fun, a lot of laughs, and a reminder that the best adventures are the ones you share with the people you love!

On a recent cruise, my husband and I played the Newlywed Game… even though we’re definitely not newlyweds anymore! 😉 After many years of marriage, it was fun to see just how well we still know each other (and share a few laughs along the way!).

Obviously, as an agent, I don’t recommend selling your house for sale by owner.

My guess is you’re considering it because you’re thinking that you don’t want to have to pay commissions to real estate agents for selling your house.

What you may not know if that median sales price of homes sold by real estate agents is 18% higher than those who sell their house for sale by owner. So that data suggest you would actually net more even after paying real estate agents, if you sold your house using a real estate agent.

But if you don’t trust the data, then watch this video to know what you need to know to sell your house "For Sale By Owner."
