The past month of life has been wild. From a fresh & new grand baby in the NICU, LOTS of travel in October (I didnt spend a single weekend at home), 2 consecutive weeks away from home, managing work/clients...WHEW! 😅
The dust has settled, the ink is dry and Im finally ready to share the rest of the story of this 11th Hour Miracle 🥰
100 Barnard Pl will always be special — it was the very first home I ever sold, 13 years ago. So when these longtime clients told me it was time to close this chapter, it was bittersweet and deeply personal.
In February, we strategized, ran the comps, mapped out a plan and in March I helped them purchase their new condo offering a lot less sq footage, a more urban setting, walkability & the new adventure they were looking for. Then we turned our focus back to selling their home. We hit the market strong, had showings, then momentum stalled. So we regrouped: revamped staging, new photos, new price, fresh energy. Still, this market was tough — and every bit of feedback received was something we couldn’t change.
We held firm. Right up to the very last day of the listing.
Admittedly heartbroken, I collected my sign, hugged my sellers, and fully expected they’d be interviewing new agents in a few days. And then—three hours later—I get a text from the agent who showed it two days prior: “We want to write an offer.” 😯
We extended the listing, got it in writing, and went under contract. 🎉
Closing day felt surreal. Thirteen years after our first chapter together, we got the ending we were hoping for. 💟
You never know how God's going to work it out..… but won’t He do it? 🙌
So grateful to my incredible Sellers and to of Harry Norman Realtors who worked her butt off for a smooth finish.
