Happy 8th Vegan Anniversary to me!🥰

I had such an AMAZING time with these fun ladies celebrating my 8th year of my vegan journey. I’ve had so much fun over the years trying different recipes and restaurants and embracing a new way of eating to better my health. Back when I first went vegan, it was a bit of a challenge but today it’s never been easier to embrace being vegan, especially with awesome restaurants like Planta. The service and food were top notch! I want to give a special thanks to Abby who went above and beyond in making our night special and fun! And thank you to my beautiful sister & friends for celebrating with me💕

A huge thank you to Chef Walter !! I was the only vegan in a large brunch party, and Chef Walter took the time and care to create a yummy dish for me to enjoy the full experience along with the rest of my party. For those of us with dietary issues/restrictions, we know how difficult it can be to find a restaurant willing to accommodate us. Chef Walter far exceeded my expectations🤩

On this International Women’s Day, I want to say a HUGE thank To all the women who have held me up and supported me, cheered me on, laughed with me until I peed (for real!), cried with me, and have just been “my people”. To all the women out there who feel alone, know that we are all in this together. Let’s build each other up, encourage one another through the hard times, celebrate each others’ smallest of wins, and just be there.

My mom taught me that handwritten thank yous are a must! So even though yesterday I sent out a video text of thanks for attendees of Sunday’s open house, they will also get a physical one in the mail😜 It’s the little things!

I mentioned in post a few weeks ago, that Single Women are the fastest growing segment of the population to become homeowners. The attached article from Better Homes and Gardens highlights this further, and lists some statistics that I think are very interesting, for instance, single women now own more homes than single men in 48 states! The article goes on to discuss why this is the trend and also provides a few suggestions for those contemplating purchasing on their own.

As some of you know, I’ve been a realtor now for a bit over 3 years. I got into real estate to give me the flexibility to pursue things close to my heart. And who knew just how much I’d love doing this! It has been an unexpected joy to help people find the place they want to call home. And I am so grateful to each of you that have done business with me, referred me, shared an article, or liked a post I’ve done, in support of my business. It does not go unnoticed!

In addition to continuing to help all of you wonderful people and all of your friends and family, I want to focus on a group that I feel are often left out when it comes to talking about financial goals, including real estate, and that’s single women. Statistics show that behind couples, they are the fastest growing segment of the population to purchase homes-go ladies!!! 👏🏾👏🏾 I feel that their needs are unique, and they need a different level of support to cheer them on in achieving their goals. This world ain’t easy as we all know, but it’s a lot harder when you’re grinding, hustling, and having to make moves on your own. I know that struggle personally, and I know the support I received in making me feel like my goals were worthwhile and pushing me to achieve whatever I wanted in the life stage I found myself in. And I want to be the one behind these women-whether they’re single and loving it, or unexpectedly single through separation, divorce, or widowhood-championing their dreams.

I ask for your continued support with Sweet Haven Realty and its mission to provide the tools and support these amazing women need to be confident in any real estate-or life-decision that comes their way.
