If you’re driving around Atlanta this weekend, be aware that part of I-285 on the west side will be completely closed from Friday night through early Monday morning. GDOT is repairing and replacing old sections of the highway, and crews need to fully shut down the road to safely complete the work. The closure is between MLK Jr. Drive and Cascade Road, and heavy traffic delays are expected across the city, so plan extra travel time if you’ll be out this weekend.

Today we celebrated more than a new space — we celebrated the heart of an organization that lifts up moms and families every single week.
