There are closings that mean a little extra, and this is absolutely one of them.

I met this sweet couple before they were married. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching them build a life together, welcome their daughter, add a baby boy to the family, and grow into this beautiful season they’re in now.

When it came time to sell their home in Ball Ground, the reason behind the move made it even more meaningful: family. They were ready to be closer to the people they love, and I was so grateful they trusted me to help make that next chapter possible.

This is the part of real estate I will never take for granted. Somewhere along the way, clients become friends. You get to know their parents, their children, their stories, and what really matters to them. Then, years later, you get the call to help them again. ❤️

Eight years ago, I had the privilege of helping this incredible woman purchase a home and begin a new chapter of her life.
‌
A lot can happen in eight years.
‌
She moved to out of state, got married, built a new life there, and through all of those changes, we never lost touch. So when she decided it was time to come back to Georgia to be closer to her grandchildren, getting the call to help her find home here again meant more to me than I can put into words.
‌
And we found a GOOD one. 🙌 This home had been on the market for more than 30 days, which gave us room to negotiate, but there was another hurdle. The age of the roof was creating insurance challenges and potentially very high premiums. Rather than letting that become my client’s problem after closing, we addressed it during negotiations and were able to secure both an excellent purchase price AND a new roof!!
‌
That’s why representation matters. It isn’t simply finding the house. It’s asking questions, spotting potential problems, negotiating solutions, and protecting the person who trusted you to be in their corner.
‌
But for me, the best part of this closing is much simpler: I got to be there for another season of her life. ❤️ Welcome back to Georgia, my friend. I’m so happy you’re home and closer to those grandbabies!

Sometimes people come into your life completely unexpectedly, and you immediately know there’s something special about the connection.

These fabulous clients started as neighbors of mine, and when they decided it was time to put their plan for early retirement into motion, we had a very specific list.

Stay in the same school district. Plenty of privacy. Great storage. A spacious kitchen. Room for the kids. Stay within budget.

Then we found this home.
‌
It had been sitting on the market for more than 120 days, but where others may have seen days on market, we saw an opportunity.
