Seller-paid, buyer agent commissions are still allowed, and may help a seller bring more buyers to the property resulting in a shorter time on the market, and a higher price for their home.
* Commissions have always been negotiable for sellers listing their property. Listing agents and sellers can continue to offer buyer compensation as long it is not listed on NAR affiliated MLSs.
* Buyers must enter into a written representation agreement with a buyers agent prior to buying a home (Georgia has required this for many years )
