So late in posting this.. but had a beautiful baby shower in June thrown by my besties and MIL. Feeling so blessed 🥲. Definitely feeling exhausted as I try to take it easy these last few weeks before she arrives , so you won’t be seeing much of me on social these days . Foggy, steamy morning…

Sad day around the Rodriguez house as we lost our beloved French Copper Maran rooster 🐔 yesterday. He took one for the team and lost his life defending all his ladies . We aren’t sure what got him but Napoleon was huge and fierce so whatever got him was big. People often say, it’s just a chicken, but when you raise them from being little cotton balls (only a few days old) to what they ultimately become , it hurts when you lose one. Hopefully our other rooster steps up and learns to defend and protect his flock . He is so much smaller than Napoleon. Being 8 months pregnancy, I am already super emotional so yesterday was quite dramatic for me.🥲🥲 He could be a little prick sometimes but I loved 🥰 that crazy bird.

Too hot to go outside but you can always find this guy on the front porch taking it all in.
