The most share-worthy thing I’ve seen in a while..... let’s do this!

The world could always use more kindness -- especially this year.

That's what spurred the Milton branch of the Young Men's Service League (YMSL Milton Chapter) to make December a "month of kindness" -- and to encourage others in Milton do the same. This effort, launched by a group called Action for Happiness, uses the hashtag .

The thrust of this initiative isn't necessarily to buy or donate things (though doing either is certainly fine). Rather, the idea is to help lift people up and, even in a small way, make their days brighter. You can follow the calendar shown here or act on your own.

And needless to say, there's more need in 2020 for figurative sunshine than most any other year. The pandemic's effect on people's physical and mental health has been widespread, leaving many more isolated. Many are struggling financially as well.

So please do what you can to be kind to friends, neighbors and even strangers -- this month and every month.
