DO NOT just throw all of your crap in closets and call it a day. Buyers are 100% going to open your doors to see what’s behind them and see what they will have to work with if they purchase the home. I have personally pulled up to houses with a buyer and they told me they no longer wanted to see the, due to the condition of the outside.

4️⃣ Fresh Paint: Apply a fresh coat of neutral paint to walls and trim. This can make your home feel brighter and more inviting.

This one may be controversial between other agents. A lot of agents say NOT to paint your home, because future buyers are just going to come in and repaint the place anyways.
While this very possibly could be true, you should consider painting your home depending on the condition of the inside. If there are scratches and smudges on your walls or if you have had to make repairs on them and there are areas where that is noticeable - then I highly recommend giving it a fresh paint of coat. Fresh paint will make the place look new and showcase the interior of your home. You don’t want a buyer to come into your home and instead of looking at how they can utilize the space, they are focused on your dirty walls.
Not to mention baseboards! Freshly painted baseboards elevate the look of your room significantly!
