I told a buyer I’m representing the other day not to buy a house.
Why would a real estate agent do that when we don’t get paid a dime until our client closes?
Because I’m not chasing transactions. I’m building relationships for life.
Buying or selling a home is one of the most important financial decisions a person will ever make. My job isn’t just to get my clients to the closing table—it’s to help them make the right decision for their goals, finances, and future.
I tell every buyer I work with this:
You’ll know you’ve found the right house when you look at me and say, “Blake, what do we need to do to get this house?”
That’s the moment I know you truly don’t want to lose it.
Until that moment comes, I’ll be honest with you—even if that means telling you to walk away from a house and keep looking.
Because when you find the right one, you’ll know, I’ll know, and we’ll do everything we can to get it for YOU.
That’s the type of real estate agent I am.
Relationships over transactions. Always.
