Market Update- Alton’s market had a little more action in July! We saw 24 new listings (up 60% from last last July) and 14 homes go under contract, a 40% jump. Nine homes officially found new owners, while available inventory held steady at 42 homes. Properties sold in a median of just 20 days and received 96.8% of their original asking price, so well priced homes are still getting attention. And that $680,000 median sale price? Take it with a grain of salt...Alton’s mix of waterfront and luxury properties can make monthly price swings look extra dramatic! The real takeaway... Buyers have more choices, activity is strong, and the market is definitely not taking the summer off!

"I love living in the Lakes Region for many reasons. It provides a safe small town feel that supports family life while being accessible to all sorts of activities and amenities. Easy to plan a day at the ocean, mountains, shopping, or entertainment with short commutes. Although, I find myself staying closer to home more and enjoying our great lakes and local entertainment."

“I play on a pool league with my husband and our friends every Thursday night at Sharky’s Billiards!”

⛺ If you weren’t in real estate, what would you be doing?
“I think it would be fun to run or work at a campground for the season.”

"My favorite part of helping clients buy or sell a home is getting to know my clients. I’ve learned so much from each of them and enjoy the friendships that form during the process. I especially love working with first time buyers and helping them find their own home. Guiding both my buyers and sellers through the uncertainty and excitement while setting them up for a smooth transaction brings me great joy."

☀️ Perfect day off—where are you going and what are you doing?
"My perfect day off would be spent with my family. We enjoy all sorts of activities from camping to thrift store shopping to attending a concert at Meadowbrook."
