🔎 “Why should I get a home inspection? What could they tell me that I don’t already see?”
That’s actually a pretty common question.
When you walk through a house during a showing, you’re seeing what’s on the surface. A home inspection goes deeper and looks at the major systems of the home — roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structure, and other components that most buyers wouldn’t normally evaluate on their own.
The goal isn’t for a house to “pass or fail.” It’s simply to give buyers a clearer picture of the home before moving forward.
I’ve worked with professionals like Rick Guyer of Julrik Properties Home Inspections, and one thing I appreciate is how he takes the time to explain what he’s seeing so buyers understand the difference between normal maintenance items and things that may need more attention.
