The One Where It Ends.
(A Letter from Amber & Lindsay)
We met on FaceTime in 2018 and the rest, as they say, is a fun (hi)story of friendship and real estate in one of the most unexpectedly special places the Air Force can send you.
Altus.
This little town, in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma, became HOME and we built a business and passion for welcoming YOU, our AF family, HOME.
We truly poured our heart and souls into our business and we hope you felt that as well. We supported local business, our Association, our squadrons (we miss you Pegasus mural), our kids sports/schools - all while working 24/7 to sell over 55 million in Real Estate and help over 200 families PCS to or from Altus AFB AND be voted Realtor(s) of the Year 2021 & 2022!!
The last FIVE years have defined our lives in ways that we can’t always express without tears. We know we were a small part of your life and AF journey, and while you might not remember our names in a few years, we promise we won’t ever forget you and the memories we made together.
We want to thank our family and support system at Main Realty (Michelle Coe , Lydia Garner, Melody Bush, Betty, & Alan). You truly allowed us the freedom to be ourselves and brand a new kind of business model for our real estate journey.
Our fellow Altus Realtors, thank you for embracing us and making us feel like we’d always been part of your Altus family. It’s See you Later 😉
Thank you to our Real Estate heroes - Our favorite mortgage lenders, Title Work/Closing Team, Home Inspectors, Plumbers, Electricians, Roofers - literally everyone who kept our transactions moving! Thank you - Jessica Dowd Theisen, Ronda Driver Smith, Richard Darlington, Christina Greg Solis, Mary Risinger-Clark, Javier Ramirez, Perry Robison, Johnny Taylor, Candace Willingham Braddock, for your friendship and ability to handle our frantic phone calls and text messages when all seemed to be imploding.
Thank you Helen Huckins, for joining our team, being crazy with us, and allowing our team to continue to do amazing work for the last year after our time in Altus was over. We know YOU will do amazing things as you continue to grow in Real Estate and in life 😉.
We still meet on FaceTime at least once a week (Amber in NJ - Helen in OK - Lindsay in WA) to go thru timelines, to-do’s, how to’s, and what the heck do we do’s?! 😂 If that’s not life we don’t know what is! This friendship is forever. ❤️
As our flame slowly fizzles out and there’s not much left to do, we say ‘See You Later’ and ‘Hope our paths one day cross again’ and all the military life cliches. We will always be here if you need us, the text chain doesn’t end here 😉.
