HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEES IN 2026.. 😂

Every contractor and diyer knows this moment…
You ask a big store employee where the tape measures are, and suddenly they’re pulling out their phone and searching for it like they’re trying to solve a crime. Meanwhile you’re standing there thinking, “Brother, I could’ve done that.” 🤣

Also, quick update on the 60-Day Build Challenge: we’re down to just 7 DAYS LEFT. The house is coming together fast and I’m posting daily updates as we push for the finish line.

DAY 50 OF THE 60 DAY BUILD CHALLENGE! 🚧🏠

With just 10 days remaining, we’re making a big push toward the finish line.

This week:
✔️ Septic system installed
✔️ Landscaping completed
✔️ Trenches dug for electric and water service
✔️ Cabinets installed
✔️ Interior trim completed
✔️ Painting underway

The house is really starting to come together, and we’re entering the final stretch. Follow along as we try to take this home from dirt to move-in ready in just 60 days.

I ONLY HAVE 16 DAYS LEFT TO FINISH THIS ENTIRE HOUSE! CAN IT BE DONE??

16 DAYS LEFT. The countdown is officially real. ⏳🔨
We are moving at absolute warp speed to bring this build across the finish line. In just 38 seconds, watch how fast a house transforms when the pressure is on.
We’re officially dried in, locked down, and knocking out massive milestones every single day. Here’s where we’re at right now:
• The Exterior: Lap and board and batten siding is going up and completely changing the curb appeal.
• The Interior: Drywall is officially hung and finished, giving us actual rooms to work with.
• The Finish Line: Flooring is dropping down right now, and the final vision is finally coming together.
Sixteen days might seem like plenty of time to some, but in custom home building, it’s a straight-up sprint. Big shoutout to the crew and subcontractors keeping the momentum alive—we don’t get here without a team that executes.

POV: Your operator is in a better mood than the GC today 😂

Not every hero wears a hard hat… sometimes they’re sitting in an excavator. 😆

The gutter boss (my younger brother) is on site today with his equipment knocking out the gutter install!

TODAY IS DAY 42 at the 60 day build challenge, exterior is getting wrapped up while drywall finishing should be completed tomorrow and ready for interior trim out and flooring.

WHY ITS IMPORTANT TO USE THE CORRECT DRYWALL MUD WHEN FINISHING.
Stop fighting your finishes! If you want your drywall seams to last, you have to understand why the order of operations matters. In this video, I break down exactly why we use the Green Box (All-Purpose) for the initial structural bond and the Light Blue Box (Lightweight) for that perfect, sandable finish. Using the wrong mud first is the fastest way to get callbacks for cracks and blisters. One of my current home building projects is the 60 DAY BUILD where I’m buildings houses from the ground up in under 60 days. We are currently at day 40 and the Drywallers are working on the finishing. SUB to the channel to follow along and see if we can hit our 60 day deadline!!
