Just far enough but not too far → River Cats Stadium

Took a smooth drive over to the Sacramento River Cats game yesterday. My cousin plays for the Tacoma Rainiers, and they were in town for Game 3 of the series.

It’s only about an hour from Amador County, the stadium is awesome, the food is great, and there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained. One of those easy family outings that’s well worth the drive.

Added bonus: if you haven’t heard, the A’s are playing there at Sutter Health Park through at least next season, so you can catch Major League Baseball right in Sacramento for a while.

If you’re coming from anywhere in Amador County, I’d definitely recommend making it out. Have you been to a River Cats or A’s game lately?
