Today marks 7 years of Amarillo Home Center—seven years of helping more than 1,000 families make homeownership a reality, laying down roots, and building something that extends far beyond four walls.
Year 7 looks much different than the six before it, but it is celebrated with the promise of continuing the legacy of two very special people—Hayden Dillard & Justin (Glenn) Appling.
Hayden Dillard and Justin Appling began Amarillo Home Center with a shared vision, an unmatched work ethic, and a deep belief in each other.
A vision that Amarillo Home Center would provide opportunities to our community members that might otherwise have limited to no options.
A work ethic that was rarely outmatched—in every aspect of life, whether business or pleasure.
A shared belief in each other, their staff, and the services they could offer.
A LEGACY.
The team at Amarillo Home Center has prided itself on winning and has embodied the mantra: “Winners Win.”
While we have lost a lot over these last four months, we also understand how relative winning is. Every situation is unique, leaving varying degrees of “winning.”
In Year 7, we are winning by cherishing the memories and legacy left behind by two of the best.
In Year 7, we are winning by having a community support system that is unwavering.
In Year 7, we are winning by having a team that has not faltered amidst the tragedy.
In Year 7, we are winning because of the foundation and integrity we were built on.
In Year 7, we are winning with laughter and tears as we recollect the unforgettable times.
In Year 7, we are winning in the friendships and relationships created with our loyal customers.
In Year 7, we are winning for THEM.
We are incredibly grateful for our customers, our team, our families, and the communities that have supported Amarillo Home Center over these last seven years.
Seven years down—and we’re not finished building yet. 🏡💚
We’ll keep moving forward, keep helping families build their dreams, and most importantly, keep carrying forward what Glenn and Hayden started.
Here’s to the past that built us, the people who made us who we are, and the future still ahead.
