Today:
• I got to make a donation to United Way of Amarillo & Canyon, on behalf of the Community Outreach Committee at the Association of Realtors.
• Then I ran by DeBault Title to drop off earnest/option money!
• I had to get my oil changed & fill up with gas.
• I went by Ruffled Cup for closing cupcakes! 🧁
• Closing day!! (But I’m not going to post about it until we are funded! 😜)
• From the closing to a showing!
• From the showing to an inspection!
• Then finally to my parent’s house to pick up my daughter! (I was supposed to go to a parent orientation at the school, so I had Kate stay in Wildorado until I came for the meeting, but my day ran late and I missed the meeting. My mom is the best y’all… she had dinner homemade and packed up for me to bring home to my family! 🥹💕)
What a full and fabulous day it was!!!

We closed last week on a cute house in South Georgia!! I didn’t get any pics so you have to bear with my attempt at being creative! 😜
I met Sara & Catherine in such a fun way. Sara had posted on FB asking for recommendations for a Realtor and of course, got hundreds of suggestions (I didn’t count them 😂), but for some reason she chose me! And I’m so blessed and beyond grateful!! We got to help her mom move here from Idaho! It was such a joy getting to know them and getting to work with such a neat family. I am blessed indeed.

We got to close on a beautiful 5 bedroom home on an acre. I’m SO happy for them!! As a homeschool family with 5 kids, they will put this property to good use!! Huge congratulations to the Stapp family!! 🥳 They are truly the best. Naturally, they turned the closing into a lesson and the kids got to see what buying a house really entails! And huge thanks to Bart Mizer Stewart Title for taking the time to explain and teach the kids what the terminology really means! What an incredible opportunity! Kristen’s mom brought me flowers y’all!! 💐 Then they treated me to lunch after closing. It was such a fun day, celebrating them (and it happened to be their wedding anniversary too!) and having the absolute privilege of walking through this home buying process with them. Truly an honor. 💕

One of my favorite closings to date! 🤩
Gio & were referred to me by an agent in my network from CA (thank you .waldren !)
I had received an email on Thursday afternoon asking if I could show them a long list of houses on Saturday!! I cleared my schedule and we made it happen. Amy sent me a Google doc with all the houses listed by address, with price, square feet, and the link to each one! 🤯 She was so professional on the phone, I thought the woman I had been talking to was like 45-50 years old. So when I met her I was shocked that they are in their 20’s!! The most mature, intelligent, professional, organized and incredible woman!!! She made the entire transaction a piece of cake for me. Same with Gio! So friendly and professional, yet down to earth and gracious. They are truly the sweetest couple and the cutest girls! And we got to look at such gorgeous houses, including a lot of Parade Homes.

We got to fund today on a house that closed last week! Sometimes things don’t go as planned, so we improvise! The buyer was able to do a temporary lease and the lender ended up completely restructuring the loan in like 1 day, so that we could fund ASAP! Way to go TEAM!!

Yesterday, I went to a clients house for a walk through. They wanted my professional opinions to help them decide if they should sell their house or rent it out. And if they sell, and if they rent it, should they remodel the bathrooms and/or kitchen? What needs fixed or upgraded to maximize their return on investment? We had a great discussion! I’ll never tell you what to do with your house, but I can offer insight from experience and comparables, to equip you with the data you need to make an informed decision!
