MEET EMILY SCHNATZ

This week's featured agent is Emily Schnatz, REALTOR®, GRI. Emily has been in real estate for six years! She has the designation of Graduate of REALTOR® Institute (GRI). We asked her what her specialty is and she said, "Most of my clients are first-time homebuyers, so I have a lot of experience in that.." Before entering real estate, Emily worked in medical billing and ran the Chamber of Commerce in Red River, NM."

We asked Emily all of the important questions so you can get to know her better:

If you were in the zombie apocalypse, who are 2 people you want on your team?
First, my husband Paul because he is well-armed and a great shot. Second, Woody Harrelson because he knows all the rules in a zombie apocalypse.

What is your least favorite pizza topping?
I'd day anchovies because they sound gross but I've never known anyone to actually order them. Sausage ranks a high second.

What’s your most used emoji?
😁 or 🌞

You have your own late-night talk show... who’s your first guest?
That's a hard one... I'll say author Neil Gaimen but there are a lot of people I would love to have a conversation with... David Bowie, Prince, Carroll Shelby, Bruce Lee, Einstein...

What’s the craziest thing on your bucket list?
Well, I don't really have a bucket list and I already went 200mph in a Formula 1 car, so I'm good. 😁

If I were to announce, “Introducing, Emily Schnatz!” to a crowd, what would your entrance song be?
My first thought was the Batman theme song, but probably Moonage Daydream by David Bowie.

Tell us about your family.
Well, most of you know my husband Paul who brought me into real estate and who is a conductor for BNSF Railroad. My daughter Shelby graduated from UNT Denton and currently lives in Bray, Ireland working as a mechanical engineer. I have been blessed with a couple of step-daughters, Emily & Jennifer, who live in south Texas with their kiddos and who have given me my grandma's name, Emzee.

Who are your pets?
Paul and I have two rescue pups, Miss Hartley, a Pit-mix, and Mr. Biggs, a Chiweenie.

What's your favorite thing to do outside of real estate?
I love to read, go to car shows, and travel. I hate flying but I love to drive my car down an open road.
