Maintenance Technician
Location: Amarillo, TX, 79109
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and make readies at a multifamily complex. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating and air conditioning units. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks and keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment homes
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating, air, electrical and plumbing
Prepare apartment homes for new residents
Perform preventative maintenance tasks
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with other team members and management
Go on call bi-weekly

Requirements:
EPA Certification required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in maintenance or related field
Strong mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills
Know how to trouble shoot and repair HVAC
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work full time and overtime as needed

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED

Waller Group Property Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all units and common areas are well-maintained and in good working order. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs, responding to tenant requests for repairs or maintenance issues, and helping with make-readies and unit renovations.



Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters, repairing plumbing and electrical systems, and fixing appliances.
Respond to tenant requests for repairs or maintenance issues and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
Help with make-readies and unit renovations, including painting, installing new flooring, and replacing fixtures.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repair work.
Ensure that all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

$17-$22 per hour
Eligibility for quarterly KPI bonuses
