Even after being in the business 34 years, some times I run into situations where I have to scratch my head about how people get themselves into a Real Estate fiasco. Today was one of those days. I was asked to come look at a home that was recently purchased. The home was in a not so good location although in South Amarillo but that was just the beginning of her problems. The home has severe settling and plumbing problems. On top of all that the Buyer paid way too much for that home. The Buyer will take a big financial hit to try to repair and resell this home. It proves up what I always advise people...Use a qualified professional Realtor that has your interest at heart. Don't use someone who has not been in the marketplace very long and just trying to collect a sales commission. You need someone to direct you through the complicated process and knows the Amarillo market in order to avoid a costly real estate fiasco. Call me whenever you are even thinking about buying or selling a property for a true honest evaluation of your particular needs.
