Wow, what a ride it has been with my wonderful—and very patient—buyers!
It’s not always rainbows and butterflies in real estate, folks. Sometimes it’s a LOT of house hunting, bidding wars, heartbreak, and starting all over again. So, let’s talk about it.
I met Tai and Nikki last September. They were looking for a new home for their growing family, with the possibility of welcoming a parent into the home as well. They needed space, a garage, a yard—the whole list of bells and whistles you hope to find in your forever home.
And boy, did we offer. Nine times.
They only waived inspections when they truly felt comfortable, and while we offered over asking when it made sense, we never went too crazy simply for the sake of winning. If it didn’t feel right for them, we didn’t force it.
We tried all kinds of homes—end-unit townhomes, detached single-family homes, homes that had been sitting on the market, and homes that needed SO. MUCH. WORK.
Then we started playing with location and decided to head up 422 toward Pottstown. The commute made sense…as long as the home made sense.
And then we found it.
A big, beautiful home in Sanatoga that had just popped back on the market after the previous buyers lost their financing. This time, we snagged it. And they even elected to have inspections. 🙌
I am absolutely obsessed with this house for them, and honestly? I think every twist and turn in their journey was leading them to this very home.
This is why I always tell people: you want an agent who stays positive when you’re feeling defeated. You want an agent who is already digging for the next opportunity while you’re still mourning the one you lost in a bidding war. You want an agent who respects your goals, your comfort level, and your “this just doesn’t feel right.”
And you want someone who will hold your hand through all of it.
It’s my damn pleasure to be that agent. ❤️
