An unpopular opinion from Utah County real estate agents. 🤫

We would rather lose a deal than rush someone into a home that doesn't actually make sense for them.

Most people assume agents are always going to push buying because that's how we get paid. We get it, but that mindset is exactly why so many people end up making one of the biggest decisions of their life under pressure they didn't need to be under.

Our job isn't to convince you to do anything. It's to give you the full picture, walk you through the math, and help you figure out what makes sense based on the life you're actually living right now.

Sometimes that means writing an offer. Sometimes it means telling you to wait.

Hi!! We just wanted to introduce ourselves!

We are Chris & Sheralyn Bennett, we have been married for 20 years. Both of us are full time Realtors with Berkshire Hathaway & licensed general contractors as well. Chris grew up in American Fork & Sheralyn in Payson/Orem. We have no kids, but 3 sweet little rescue dogs, Holly, Freddy & Archie. (And 2 angel pups Kanga Rainbow & Peanut Butter)

We love to travel, hike & be outside. Both of us laugh all the time & are pretty chill (unless someone is pushing us or a client around 😆)

What every seller in Utah County needs to know before listing this summer.

The market has shifted, and the sellers winning right now are the ones paying attention. Not to headlines or doom-scroll predictions, but to the real numbers happening in their own neighborhood.

The strategy that worked two years ago isn't the same strategy that's going to work this season.

Pricing, prep, and timing all carry more weight than they used to, and getting any one of those wrong can cost you real money on the back end.

The #1 thing to look for in a Utah County real estate agent (and it's not experience).

Years on a license are easy to put on a bio, but they don't really tell you what working with someone is actually going to feel like, or whether they're going to be the right fit for the move you're about to make.

What matters so much more is finding someone who's truly invested in the outcome.

An agent who takes the time to understand what you're trying to accomplish, communicates clearly through every step of the process, and brings real strategy to every decision you make together along the way.

How someone makes you feel in that very first conversation is going to tell you so much more about them than any stat sheet ever could.
