Closing days are always special. Getting to be a part of someoneā€™s journey to homeownership is a privilege. I may be a bit biased here but this one is a just a little more special. Getting to hand the keys to my daughter and her husband just a few days before sheā€™s set to have their baby is a proud mom moment too. Congratulations, Tate and Justin! Some closings are memorableā€¦ and then there are the ones youā€™ll never forget.

My clients were supposed to welcome their baby in Mayā€”but she decided to arrive early and keep everyone on their toes. Last week when closing day came and momma hadnā€™t been discharged, instead of a conference room, we brought everything to themā€¦ in their hospital room.

The closer and I walked in with paperwork, and I left having had the honor of snuggling the sweetest brand new baby girl while her parents signed for their new home.

Real estate is never just about houses. Itā€™s about people. These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.
