Helping a neighbor sell this wire utility shelf/rack. It's in great condition and was never used outdoors. Regularly sells for $90, willing to sell for $70.

Please be advised, the full property clean-up for the ongoing snow event is scheduled to occur tomorrow, January 27, 2026.

Typically, the Association does not send digital reminders, but given the volume of snow, it is important for residents to ensure their vehicles are off the lot before 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Tomorrows cleanup will take much longer than usual given the volume of snow. The vendor will be using a large front end loader and other additional heavy equipment to relocate snow to maximize storage and clear space for future events. It may take up to 5 hours for the full property cleanup.

Obviously, the volume of snow is tremendous, so please make sure to give yourself enough time to clear around your vehicle. Additionally, please assist other residents, if possible, to help ensure their vehicles can move out of the space. If everyone is off the lot before 10:00 a.m. it will allow us to start on time.

The plow vendor will be returning to clear the additional snow forecasted to come this evening and shovel the walkways in advance of the cleanup at 10:00 a.m.

This storm has been difficult. Your patience and assistance is much appreciated.

A snow emergency has been declared for the City of Amesbury due to predicted weather conditions.

Beginning at 10:30 am on Sunday, January 25th, on-street parking throughout the city will not be permitted.

Beginning at noon on Sunday, January 25th downtown surface lots will close to parking.

Due to the intensity of the storm and its unknown duration, there is currently no scheduled end to the on-street parking ban.

Updates will be communicated on the city’s website, social media, and Smart911.

Due to public safety, cars left on-street and in surface lots during the parking ban are subject to ticketing and/or towing at the owner’s expense.

The emergency flashing blue lights system around town will be lit as a reminder that the parking ban has been activated.

Residents of the Central Business District may park in the specified spots at Lake Gardner, Friend Street, and Water Street municipal lots.

Just as a reminder, property owners have 24hrs after a storm's conclusion to clear and treat sidewalks.

To report icy and snowy road Issues AFTER a storm:

During regular business hours: Call DPW at 978-388-8116. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

After regular business hours: Call Amesbury Police at the NON-EMERGENCY number at: 978-388-1217.

For emergency response only, please call 911.

Do not use SeeClickFix to report snow related issues besides plow damage.

To ensure the safety of employees and to help the plow trucks, G.Mello has made the decision to delay trash/recycling service on Monday. All collections will be delayed one day for the week

On the Planning Board agenda Monday night, November 3rd at 7PM - City Hall. Get informed and find out what is happening in your city and in your neighborhood.

Impacts to Point Shore (Main Street), Route 110/Elm Street/Clarks Road intersection and surrounding roads that are already very congested. A TOTAL OF 152 UNITS PROPOSED, with 20% "affordable" and 80% market rate.

Add to this the close to 400 units on Elm Street, and in the future, another 300-ish...

Impacts to Point Shore (Main Street), Route 110/Elm Street/Clarks Road intersection and surrounding roads that are already severely congested. A TOTAL OF 381 UNITS PROPOSED, with 10% "affordable" and 90% market rate.
The South Neighborhood is proposed to be a total of 85 homes in a mix of single-family, duplex, triplex and quad plex buildings and will be marketed for-sale to individual homeowners. The North Neighborhood is proposed as 296 rental homes in 29 individual buildings.
