Join us for 15 minutes before HAMILTON to explore what is means to be Revolutionary through an Afro-Indigenous lens. Anika Lopes presents a local perspective of the American Revolution, her understanding of freedom and identity, and share the vibrant Black and Afro-Indigenous history of Amherst and the valley, reminding us that this story lives in every corner of the nation.
Learn more by visiting the Ancestral Bridges Museum exhibit, "Revolutionary Responses - Exploring revolutionary art, style, and sounds of ancestors' determination as they made something out of nothing."
