REMINDER TODAY, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND ~ if you have not already, turn those clocks back 1 hour!

📣This is also a great time to replace batteries in your smoke alarms & fire detectors that run off batteries.
📣Check, clean or replace your filters in your air duct returns and on your furnace.
📣Set some mouse traps set in your garage, basement, and around the house, as now that it is cold, they will be looking for a way inside. Be proactive to prevent infestation.
📣Unhook hoses from exterior water supplies if you still have them hooked up.
📣Shut off water valves to your exterior water supply lines for the season to prevent future issues.
📣If you heat with Propane or Oil - be sure to call your supplier to have your tanks filled up so you ready for the cold weather.
📣If you a septic system, and you have not had your tank pumped in the last 3 to 5 years, call your septic company to get on their scheduled to get it pumped. Have them check your tank, your baffles, and your distribution box. We are heading into their slower time of the year, so don't wait till the spring when they are slammed with work already!

~ These are all important tips to maintain your home and to remind you of the things often forgot about in our busy daily lives, until disaster strikes and gives homeowner's a rude awaking of the oversight.
