Kellie is our new Client Care Manager at The The Courage Group. She has been with us a short time, and we are honestly already wondering how we ran this team without her - she's just that amazing (TRULY).

Before joining our real estate team, Kellie spent years as a licensed esthetician, which means she comes to us with seriously sharp customer service instincts. She knows how to make people feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared for, and she is already putting those skills to work in the wild world of real estate. Safe to say, she has hit the ground not just running, but flat out SPRINTING ("Straight to plaid," like my husband just mentioned - cue the Spaceballs references).

So what does Kellie actually do? She is the person who makes sure you land in the right hands. We're honestly speechless. Our YouTube channel just hit 30,000 subscribers - and we are now officially the #1 real estate channel on YouTube in the entire State of Washington.

When we started this journey, our goal was simple: to provide the most transparent, expert, high quality, and local real estate advice in the PNW. It began with sharing about our little corner of the state in beautiful Anacortes. Now, we are discussing statewide real estate topics that affect millions of people. 🚨 FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT 🚨

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for much of Western Washington — including Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish, King, and Mason Counties — from late tonight through late Saturday night.

🌧️ What to Expect:
Heavy rainfall of 3–5 inches (with locally higher amounts) could cause flooding of rivers, creeks, and low-lying areas. Urban drainage systems may also back up where leaves or debris are clogging storm drains.

⚠️ Areas of Concern:
The Skagit, Nooksack, Stillaguamish, Snohomish, Skykomish, and Snoqualmie Rivers are most at risk of reaching or nearing flood stage.

🏠 Homeowners & Residents:
If you live in a flood-prone area, take precautions now — clear gutters, check sump pumps, and move valuables to higher ground. Even if you’re outside a flood zone, it’s a good reminder to review your home insurance coverage and understand your property’s flood risk.
