Resale home market is suffering from listings. Price, interest rates, 10 year bond all way to high to stimulate any part of the market.
We need interest rates in the low 6% range or less.
Buyer and sellers are holding out for the best rates and price.
If you have been on the market over 60 days and no offer, You are over priced and not by $10,000.00 either. Your first price reduction must be minimum $25,0000.00. Then every Thursday $10,000.00 until you receive the offer. Don’t be bullish and over price on your negotiation. Put yourself in the buyer position. Would you pay what they offered? If the buyer walks away, you in effect bought your home for what price you countered.

Interesting Housing market continues for the winter.
We see more listings and less sales. You will experience as we pass Thanksgiving listings will cool. Pending will continue at slower pace. If past years hold pat, listing will stay in the low range through February. We do not see a rise in interest rates and maybe a slight reduction maybe around the corner. Just don't count on one.
Buyers, when you see a home that fits your needs, BUY IT. Do not wait. There are still buyers out there. There could be a slight negotiating opportunity for you. Be active, take charge.

This looks to be a fun kids event at Skagit Valley College

Skagit Valley College (SVC), in partnership with the SVC Camp program, is excited to announce that we will be hosting SVC Field Day for elementary-aged kids in collaboration with Children of the Valley and the Skagit County Boys & Girls Club. This event will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, from 3:00 PM (start time not exact) to 5:00 PM in the Gym at Skagit Valley College.

During SVC Field Day, SVC student-athletes, coaches, and staff will introduce various sports to our elementary students, teaching them new skills and ensuring a fun and engaging experience. We look forward to fostering a love for sports and physical activity in our young participants.

The housing market continues to expand here in Skagit County. Anacortes is experiencing low housing inventories which has keep home prices high. Vacant land has increased in value by 25% the last three years. Still some properties available, not many though.

What’s new in the real estate business? Not many gone listing. Yet I habvdxseen gone still available after three weeks. Last month they received offers on the fist day.
