The biggest mistake buyers make at open houses?

They spend all their time looking and not enough time asking questions.

A beautiful kitchen is great... but the answers to the right questions can help you make a more informed decision before writing an offer. 🏡✨

Some of my best suggested questions to ask:

✔️ How long has it been on the market?

✔️ Have there been any price changes?

✔️ What's included with the sale?

✔️ How old are the major systems?

✔️ What do the sellers love most about living here?

Sometimes the answers tell you just as much as the home itself.

Memorial Day weekend always feels a little bittersweet...

It's the unofficial start of summer. Long weekends. BBQs. Time with family and friends.

But it's also a reminder that those moments aren't something to take for granted.

Today I'm grateful for those who gave everything so that we can enjoy the freedoms, opportunities, and everyday moments that make life so special.

One of my favorite things about this time of year in the Pacific Northwest.

The days get longer, the sunsets linger a little later, and somehow everything feels just a little more relaxed.

This view over the water between Anacortes and Guemes was too good not to stop and appreciate for a moment.

When clients come back, it means everything 🥰

Just closed on 633 NW Mizzen Dr in Oak Harbor for a repeat client, and this one was extra special.

Not only is this the third time I’ve had the opportunity to work with him, but this home is right next door to another client I helped just last month 👀

There’s something really special about getting to stay connected with clients over time, and even helping build community along the way.

Grateful for the trust, always 🙌

Buying a home is exciting… but I’ve also seen what buyers wish they had done differently.

Here are a few of the biggest regrets I hear 👇

✨ Not getting fully pre-approved before falling in love with a home
✨ Skipping inspections to try and compete
✨ Underestimating the true monthly cost
✨ Waiting for the “perfect time” (that never really comes)

The good news? Every one of these is avoidable with the right guidance.
