Southern California Market Snapshot – Late 2025
What’s happening right now?

Inventory is soaring. Many of SoCal’s major counties are seeing year‑over‑year inventory increases of 35%‑80%.

Price growth has decelerated – in some areas nearly flat or mildly negative. For example:

Orange County posted a -1.57% annual change in one report.

Los Angeles County saw ~1.63% year‑over‑year growth.

The market balance is shifting toward buyers’ favor: Months of Supply Inventory (MSI) in several regions has gone beyond the ~3‑month “balanced market” threshold.
