Weekends in Alaska look like this.

🍽️ Dinner at a local spot where the staff knows half the room. 🔥 A fire outside as the temperature drops. 🦌 Wildlife I still can't get over (always from a safe distance). 🛍️ Shopping small at local stores instead of the big chains.

After 7 moves, this is the part nobody puts in a PCS packet: what living here actually feels like. Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su each have their own version of it.

No two days look the same as an Alaska Realtor, and today proved it. 🍂

Morning: a scenic drive from Anchorage to Wasilla for a lunch and learn with Home Inspections Plus. We learned more in-depth about GFCIs and how to actually read an inspection report, including what to ask the inspector.

Evening: my walk around Westchester Lagoon, with fall colors doing the most. 😍
